During the 18th annual GIN conference in Glasgow Evidence Prime presented our latest idea - RecChat, a conversational AI that assists with searching through robust databases. We want to showcase this tool in this webinar as well as discuss some of our findings from the GIN workshop.

RecChat is an AI-based conversational search engine developed for The eCOVID-19 RecMap.

The eCOVID-19 RecMap is a collaborative effort involving multiple international organizations and aims to catalogue the best available recommendations on COVID-19. Using the PICO framework, it enables decision-makers to identify relevant recommendations. Recently, chat-based search solutions are transforming the way users perform information retrieval.

RecChat is an AI-powered conversational search engine specifically designed for eCOVID-19 RecMap. It shares similarities with existing conversational AI models like ChatGPT but distinguishes itself by its exceptional precision and factual accuracy. It can answer questions based on recommendations stored on the RecMap, providing precise sources for its answers. It will only provide responses when relevant recommendations are available, streamlining interactions with the robust eCovid RecMap database while guaranteeing the delivery of evidence-based information. Unlike ChatGPT it will not “hallucinate” and provide false information. In the future, this solution could be applied to any recommendation or guideline repository.
